SEATTLE, Wash., (August 12th, 2014) — Two Seattle startup companies, PlaceFull.com and Judy’s Book, have partnered to help small businesses get discovered and booked online. The online booking website PlaceFull.com is rolling out 11 new directories of over fifty thousand merchants to help Judy’s Book consumers get booked online. This will enable consumers to search businesses online and book anytime, anywhere using PlaceFull’s booking engine. As part of the partnership, PlaceFull will enhance its pages by displaying Judy’s Book reviews (currently over 1.2 million) on business listings to its consumer audience. PlaceFull announced its new directories seeded with data from Judy’s Book will feature a multitude of professional service providers, such as Photographers, Home Inspectors, Artists, Carpet Cleaners, Painters, Window Cleaners, Roofing Services, Gutter Services, Garage Door Services, Pet Services, and Handyman Services. All merchants in the directory will have a dedicated page, which includes three referral listings, images, reviews, business information, the merchant’s Yelp Reviews and the merchants Judy’s Book Reviews. The merchant will then have the ability to convert their referral listing to real-time bookable listings to make it seamless for consumers to book instantly online. PlaceFull also announced that merchants that sign up for PlaceFull get full access to PlaceFull’s online booking capabilities (dashboard, calendar, free mobile app, credit card reader and more), which includes immediate booking on their website and Facebook page. In addition PlaceFull merchants will have the option to enhance their Judy’s Book profile and drive more referrals to their online booking page. General Manager of Judy’s Book, Ali Alami said, “Many of our merchants are looking for a complete booking solution while our consumers are looking to save time and book on the go. This partnership with PlaceFull fills this need by providing 24×7 online and mobile booking capabilities to help our merchants grow their revenues while removing friction in booking for our consumer users.” Founder and CEO of PlaceFull, Ryan Hamlin said, “We are excited to partner with one of the leading Social Search tools available to consumers today to search, review and now book events, activities and services online, in real-time. PlaceFull.com is an online booking service that allows small business owners to create and publish bookable listings online, delivering ultimate convenience for both merchants and consumers. Its newly unveiled mobile application with credit card reader allows business owners to take bookings online, in-store, and on-the-go. Judy’s Book is the Social Search tool that brings the trusted scoop on local places. This Seattle, WA startup has grown to more than one million monthly pageviews and over 600,000 members. We’re excited to announce that Judy’s Book is working with GoDdady’s Locu team on the launch of Get Found.
How many times have you tried to contact or visit a local business only to find out their phone number or physical address is out of date? Using GoDaddy Get Found, businesses can publish critical information like location, phone number, hours-of-operation, as well as service lists, menus and photos on search engines, social media, top local sites and mobile apps. Additionally, having updated and accurate information across various popular websites increases a customer’s visibility in search engine results.
As part of the agreement Judy’s Book will ingest new listings and updates to existing listings from GoDaddy and display eatery menus on Judy’s Book and KidScore. GoDaddy is also calling the Judy’s Book API from its Get Found tool that allows business owners and managers to quickly view their listing information across popular sites to ensure correctness and easily submit corrections to top sites.
This is a great example of tools small business owners can leverage to save time and drive more business while giving consumers more power to make decisions.

Judy’s Book shows TrustScore® to showcase suspicious and honest businesses.
We just rolled out TrustScore® for business listing pages. A Judy’s Book TrustScore® lets users gauge the reliability of the businesses reviews. The Judy’s Book review filter has flagged and filtered out multiple reviews on Low TrustScore® businesses, these are typically places that engage in attempts to game the system.
TrustScore® works off about a dozen factors before making a determination.
Judy’s Book hopes to encourage honest reviews and businesses by exposing this new feature to consumers. To find out more about the TrustScore simply click on the TrustScore icon or page.
